Burst pipe, flooding, or no water at all. Shut off your main first, then call — we answer at any hour, and a person picks up rather than a voicemail box.
The single most useful thing you can do between noticing a leak and a plumber arriving is close the main shut-off valve. It turns an expensive problem into a contained one, and it is worth finding and labelling that valve now rather than hunting for it during a flood.
A large share of our Surrey emergency calls come from houses built in the eighties and nineties, and a large share of those turn out to be Poly B letting go.
Then call. We answer at 2am with a person, and we will talk you through what to do while a technician is dispatched to Surrey.
After the water is off we cut back to sound pipe and make a permanent repair rather than clamping over a split, pressure-test it, and give you photographs and a written description of the failure for your insurer.
Fleetwood · Guildford · Newton · South Surrey · City Centre · Panorama Ridge — and everywhere else in Surrey.
Permitted work in Surrey goes through the City of Surrey. We pull it and book the inspection as part of the job — you do not deal with the city.
What counts as an emergency, what to do before we arrive, and where to find your main shut-off.
Emergency plumbing explained →Surrey is one of the most affected cities in the region, and the reason is simply timing: Surrey’s biggest decades of growth overlap the 1978-1995 Poly B window almost exactly. Fleetwood, Guildford and Newton in particular are full of homes plumbed in it.
Newer Surrey subdivisions are usually slab or crawlspace, which affects how a repipe is routed and what it costs.
Shut off the main, move what you can out of the water, and call (604) 636-3939.
