What We Fix

Most of It, and Usually on the First Visit

Plumbing repair is unglamorous work that either gets done properly or gets done again. Our approach is simple: diagnose the actual cause rather than the symptom, quote it in writing, carry the parts, and leave the place clean.

AceComfort has been in Metro Vancouver mechanical rooms and crawlspaces for 27 years. The plumbing side is an extension of that, not a sideline — the same technicians, the same standards, the same digital checklists and photo records on every job.

Repairs We Handle

What We See Most

The Three Calls We Get Most

If one of these is your problem, here is roughly what is going on before we even arrive.

Water where it should not be

A stain on a ceiling, a damp cupboard floor, a musty smell. The visible damage is almost never directly under the actual leak — water travels along joists. Finding the source first is the whole job.

Something will not stop running

A toilet that refills every few minutes or a tap that drips is usually a worn seal or valve. Cheap to fix, and on a metered property it is quietly costing you money the entire time it is left.

Pressure or temperature is off

A single slow tap is usually a clogged aerator or cartridge. The whole house losing pressure is a different conversation — that points at the supply piping, and often at Poly B.

FAQs

Plumbing Repair Questions

For anything actively leaking we aim for same day across Metro Vancouver, and we run 24/7 for genuine emergencies. Routine repairs — a dripping tap, a running toilet, a slow-filling tub — are usually booked within a day or two at a time that suits you. When you book you get a confirmed window, not a vague "sometime Tuesday".
You get a written price for the repair before any work begins, and if you go ahead with it the diagnostic is covered. What we will never do is start work and hand you a surprise number at the end. If the answer turns out to be "this is not worth repairing", we will tell you that too.
Usually. Our vans carry the fittings, cartridges, valves, supply lines, flappers and seals that account for the large majority of residential calls. If your fixture takes something unusual — an older European brand, a discontinued cartridge — we will source it and come back, and we will tell you the wait before you commit.
It depends on the age of the fixture, whether parts are still made for it, and how many times it has been fixed already. A ten-year-old tap with a worn cartridge is a cheap repair. A twenty-five-year-old tap that nobody makes parts for is money spent twice. We will give you both numbers and let you decide rather than pushing the replacement.
Yes. Parts and labour are covered, and you get a written invoice describing exactly what was replaced. If the same fault comes back within the warranty period, we come back at no charge.
